The New York Jets have officially revealed their brand-new team uniforms, along with an apparent new logo for the franchise. The first uniforms in franchise history, modeled after Notre Dame's uniforms, are navy and gold.

But the years 2017 and 2018 saw the Jets pick up several building blocks for potential future success, namely Pro Bowl safety Jamal Adams and highly-touted rookie quarterback Sam Darnold.

"New energy", Adams added.

"Our new colours - Gotham Green, Spotlight White, and Stealth Black are clean, bold, and dynamic", Glatt continued.

A New York Jets helmet is held behind a player's back during the national anthem before NFL action against the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium before the game on September 25, 2016 in Kansas City, Missouri. The football at the bottom of the logo has also been updated. Team president Neil Glat thanked the National Football League and Nike for collaborating on the new design.

"Hey, look, I really feel like this is an wonderful moment in Jets history", Johnson said.

"I think it came out pretty great", Johnson said. The emcee was comedian J.B. Smoove.

The Jets also unveiled a new white uniform and a new green uniform.

It all capped what has been a busy offseason for the Jets. The team will also be making one other major change, with the Jets going from their current white helmet back to the green helmet that they wore for almost 20 years (1978-97).

"Our team really did a 360 (degree turn quickly)", Anderson said.
