The lovely American actress Chrissy Metz, who is known for her role in the NBC drama This Is Us, made her singing debut at ACW Awards 2019, which took place on this Sunday.

Accepting the latter, Musgraves said "I'm so thankful for the chance to share my political perspective", dedicating the award to women who felt pressure to silence themselves.

Keith is reportedly going to perform a song called "Burden".

Although fans love Metz as Kate Pearson on the hit NBC show, she could very well become one of country music's hottest stars. Aldean earned the Dick Clark Artist of the Decade Award. "A lot of the girls are, so I think they're being overlooked right now". This year marks the 16th year that Reba has been the host of the ACMs and she even told the Tennessean that she won't be bringing up politics during her hosting duties this evening.

Jason Aldean kicked off the awards show with a fun performance featuring the hit-making duo Florida Georgia Line. I wasn't nominated for the Grammys this year, so I just watched it from home, and it was like, wow!

Luckily the performers at ACM Awards, airing live on CBS, include a good number of female musicians. "This Is Us" actress Chrissy Metz, who stars in the new movie "Breakthrough", performed a song alongside Lauren Alaina, Mickey Guyton, Maddie & Tae and Underwood.

Female Artist of the Year nominees are Miranda Lambert, Ashley McBryde, Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves and Carrie Underwood.
