"United are one of the really good teams left in the competition and they won't fear anyone".

In Liverpool's next appearance at this stage of the competition they edged out Juventus, then Chelsea in the semi-finals, before THAT famous comeback victory over AC Milan in the 2004/05 Final.

Liverpool are expected to spend the upcoming global break at the top of the Premier League table with a victory that would push Fulham ever closer to relegation.

"They have different systems they can use, five at the back, a diamond, 4-2-3-1".

"In the quarter-finals of the Champions League you have to expect to play tough teams though, so we will be ready for it".

Jürgen Klopp's side have an even higher rate of reaching the semi-finals than the reigning Premier League champions, holding an 85 per cent chance of progression to the next round and 47 per cent chance of reaching the final.

Manchester United were paired with Barcelona, while Ajax will be taking on Juventus.

Ajax will once again have the first leg at home and will look to try and upset Juve like they did against Real Madrid in the previous round.

The Champions League is heating up and everyone is counting down the days until Manchester United and FC Barcelona meet in the first leg of their Champions League quarter final.

Ahead of Friday's draw, European soccer's governing body said it would amend the scheduling if both Manchester clubs are drawn to play their home games in the same week.

The first legs of Liverpool vs. Porto and Spurs vs. City will take place on Tuesday, April 9, with the second legs on Wednesday, April 17.

Manchester City were drawn against Tottenham Hotspur in an all British clash while the fourth British club, Liverpool, landed the plum draw against unfanced Porto of Portugal. We beat Liverpool, we beat Chelsea, we beat Arsenal back then [in 1999], and you think "we deserve a little bit of luck in the draw next time" but Wolves away, what a hard game that can be. I know how good they are at the front with Son (Heung-min), (Harry) Kane, Dele Alli and (Christian) Eriksen. Cristiano Ronaldo hit a hat-trick at the Allianz Stadium and will be on the hunt to win his fifth Champions League trophy in the last six years.
