According to the NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, the New York Giants have agreed to trade star WR Odell Beckham the Cleveland Browns. We can haggle about whether the compensation was enough for NY all day, but the Browns didn't destroy their season by giving up a pair of picks and a safety, they didn't mortgage a cent of their future and they landed a game-changing, potential Hall of Fame wide receiver.

The Browns are poised to lock up another former New York Giant.

Last Thursday night, Cleveland social media was on fire with speculation that the Browns were getting ready to trade for Odell Beckham, Jr.

In training camp last August, Landry told that his good buddy Beckham would like to join him in Cleveland.

After Cleveland locked up that deal, Tampa Bay was able to convince Browns receiver Breshad Perriman to agree to a one-year, $4-million contract. They also paid Beckham $21.5 million for 12 games last season.

The Browns are left with eight picks in the 2019 NFL Draft.

This means that the Giants now have the sixth pick and the 17th pick in this years draft which could mean one of two things. "I watch everybody across the league, all the top receivers get the ball the way they should, and if they don't they say something about it".

Dave Gettleman, the general manager for the Giants, has been denying throughout the offseason that he would trade Beckham.

On the back end, Peppers is a solid, young player, but he's nowhere close to as talented as Collins.

The fact that Cooks had 1,204 receiving yards to go along with five touchdowns and didn't miss a game shows he doesn't even compare to Beckham. It was buzzing around Indy that the 49ers want him though.

Beckham Jr was rated the third best wide receiver in 2018 with 77 catches for 1,052 yards and six touchdowns.

With the move, the Browns' odds to win the Super Bowl LIV next season have increased.
