Arsenal closing in on £18m deal to replace Aaron Ramsey in January

Paris Saint-Germain are keen to hold talks with Aaron Ramsey next month when he is free to speak to foreign clubs about a summer switch, according to Sky sources.

The Wales global has been linked with a number of big clubs, including Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Juventus, but former Italy midfield legend Pirlo has backed a moved by his former club, Juve.

It's believed the Welshman is eyeing a mouth-watering €10m-per-year pay hike on his current deal which Inter and AC Milan cannot match which explains why Juve are leading the race the sign him.

"Juventus are preparing another excellent deal". Ramsey has been on a long-term contract with the Premiere League club until the final year of his contract this season.

But Ramsey has made it clear that he wants to see out the season at Arsenal and it has been claimed that the player is close to accepting an offer to leave on a free transfer next summer. "He is a complete player who can do pretty much everything".

Aaron Ramsey is set to leave Arsenal at the end of the season, after talks broke down over a new contract.
