"The View" co-hosts responded to harsh comments about Joy Behar from Kid Rock Friday.

"I would say love everybody ... except I'd say screw that Joy Behar b-ch".

Ainsley Earhardt, another Fox host, agreed with Doocy and tried to do damage control. "I did apologize for language", Rock said.

Organizers of the event moved ahead and appointed James Shaw the marshal in place of the rocker.

"I will not be participating in tomorrow's Nashville Christmas parade", O'Connell said.

Rock was stripped from his position as Grand Marshall of the Nashville Christmas Parade over the incident.

Several parade organizers announced Friday evening that the parade would no longer feature Kid Rock, who had volunteered to be the grand marshal.

Kid Rock: Exactly. Maybe I'll go on and we'll hash it out and talk it out with her. (C) who stopped the shooting at a Waffle House where a gunman opened fire killing four and injuring two attends a press conference with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The decision to drop the rock star comes after Nashville Mayor David Briley sent out a statement saying that he would be less "inclined not to participate" if Rock was kept as the grand marshal. However, as he is expressing what sounds like a message of solidarity, he throws in a jab at Joy Behar, a well-known liberal host of The View.

"And when Myself, Sarah Palin and Ted Nugent visited The White House past year, Behar called it 'the saddest day in the history of the White House since the British burned it to the ground in 1814'". "Mess with the bull, you get the horns". The Democratic mayor said that he probably wouldn't go if Kid Rock was still the Grand Marshal.

For her part, Behar invited Kid Rock to come on "The View" and discuss his opinion.

Bryan Lewis, the attorney for Steve Smith, Kid Rock's business partner and "best friend", told Variety Friday night that the controversial performer was planning on showing up and fulfilling his duty as grand marshal Saturday morning.

"I agree you come for one of us, you come for all of us at this table, hands down", she continued.

Multiple "Fox & Friends" personalities apologized on air afterward.
