HBO has released a new teaser for the upcoming eighth and final season of the network's acclaimed fantasy drama Game of Thrones.

The teaser was released at the São Paulo Expo in Brazil, an offshoot of San Diego Comic-Con, where showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss appeared alongside stars Maisie Williams and John Bradley.

The teaser begins with the Stone Table engraved with the great map of Westeros located in the castle at Dragonstone which then begins to freeze from the north. The show will bring some epic battle scenes, some gruesome deaths, and it will finally answer how Tyrion will carry on his life after knowing that Daenerys and Jon Snow are in some sort of a relationship.

Again, per VF: "In the show's pilot episode, the White Walkers clearly communicate in "inhuman shrieks" and 'a chilling sound like crackling ice, ' which echoes George R.R. Martin's description of their language in his books".

Most notably, the lion of Lannister burns up, in an image that evokes the fiery "Loot Train Battle" last season.

Renfro wonders if the two converging is representative of what happens when a wight-dragon fights a regular dragon.

Game of Thrones, which has won multiple Emmy awards, is HBO's biggest hit ever with some 30 million viewers in the United States and an army of devoted fans worldwide. Every time a Game of Thrones season comes, the trailer comes before 3 months.
