Controversial rapper 6ix9ine has been taken into federal custody over racketeering and firearms charges, as TMZ reports.

Prosecutors said Hernandez openly identifies as a gang member and "has failed to mature into the law-abiding adult anticipated by the plea agreement". The indictment blames the alleged gang members for murder, burglary, ambush, drug dealing, and that's just the beginning.

The rapper faces 25 years to life in prison. Pitchfork has emailed a delegate for 6ix9ine for input.

According to the papers filed in court, Tekashi and some members of his gang "threatened to commit acts of violence.to protect and expand the Enterprise's criminal operations, and against rival gang members". The investigation was a joint effort by the bureau, NYPD, and Homeland Security.

According to the indictment, Tekashi (also known as 6ix9ine) and his crew allegedly conspired to commit a series of crimes that included drug deals, armed robberies and shootings.

Then in mid-July, the court papers said, the rapper joined three others and agreed to shoot an individual who had shown disrespect to gang members. Specifically, 6ix9ine is alleged to have been involved in an April 2018 armed robbery.

Earlier this month, police apprehended Jordan in connection with an incident in which Walter, in his capacity as 6ix9ine's bodyguard, was shot and later charged with gang assault.

He was on probation after pleading guilty in 2015 to the use of a child in a sexual performance.

Pitchfork also reported he said: 'There's people that deserve to be in jail, but Daniel Hernandez does not deserve that'. The lawyer Lance Lazzaro also claimed that the feds' images generally show that Hernandez was not near the scene of multiple of the alleged crimes, including the April robbery, where he waited in the auto.

Tekashi 6ix9ine, 22, spits some hard verses in his songs, and apparently, they're coming from a place of experience.

The exact charges for the arrest are not confirmed at this point but his good friend DJ Akademiks reports that he was charged under RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act). Eastern. It was last updated on November 19 at 7:35 p.m. Eastern.
