After keeping everyone at the edge of their seats for the first look of their wedding pictures, it was just yesterday when Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh broke the internet by posting some stunning images from both the wedding ceremonies and the mehendi celebrations.
The wedding reception venue, Leela Palace Hotel, has been decorated with red flowers and there is a tight security in place. The actors first got married in South Indian style Konkani wedding on November 14 and then in North Indian Sindhi style in an Anand Karaj ceremony on November 15.
Deepika too shared one of her photos from the reception on the Instagram. Like a caring husband, the Ram-Leela actor bowed down to help his wife adjust the pallu before they made their way to the wedding reception room. Ranveer complemented Deepika's toned down look in a black bandhgala customised by Rohit Bal.
Earlier on Wednesday, Sabyasachi's social media team issued an apology for mistakenly claiming that the gold sari worn by Deepika for her Konkani ceremony was part of their label. As for her beauty look for the evening, the new bride opted for a slick bun that highlighted her sindoor, and topped up her bun with fresh mogra.
Deepika is looking like a goddess in Sabyasachi Golden silk saree while Ranveer is at his best in embroidered Sherwani. After the reception in Bangalore today, the couple will throw a reception party in Mumbai for their Bollywood colleagues on December 1, 2018 at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai. The video shows Deepika and Ranveer at the Bengaluru airport on Tuesday.
After being seen in a handful of attractive Sabyasachi ensembles at her wedding, Deepika Padukone continued to favour a traditional Indian look at her Bengaluru wedding reception.
Sabyasachi Mukherjee shared a picture of the couple, and revealed that Deepika wore a saree gifted by her mother, Ujjala Padukone.
