Unai Emery's Arsenal team will begin the Premier League season against Manchester City.

With just a few days to go before the start of the new English Premier League season, we look at the Super Sunday clash between Arsenal and Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium. Lehmann was part of Wenger's coaching staff a year ago but was let go as part of the backroom changes.

Unai Emery has revealed what he thinks would constitute a successful season as he prepares for his first as Arsenal's head coach (via Sky Sports).

The Spaniard is not the only new manager hoping to make an instant impact in the capital.

"I see a lot of potential at Chelsea, who have a new manager in Maurizio Sarri".

Kroenke agreed a deal to buy Alisher Usmanov's 30 per cent stake in Arsenal for more than £550m on Tuesday to take full ownership of the club.

Liverpool, buoyant after an off-season spending spree, host equally busy West Ham United on Sunday.

As Southampton aim to put a disappointing 2017/18 season behind them, the acquisition of an England worldwide forward would have been a massive boost.

Manchester City were nothing short of spectacular last season. Plenty of enough time on the pitch to create chances, and hopefully assists, that will profit not only my FF team but also the club's start to their title defence.

Unai Emery now has less than 24 hours to add any more players to his side, before the window slams shut at 5pm tomorrow.

Arsenal's Emery will need to reverse a awful recent record for the club against City, however, if the new era in north London is not to start in disappointing fashion.

City showed against Chelsea that they are going to continue from where they left off last season.

Emery has already invested in two defenders, Stephan Lichtsteiner and Sokratis Papastathopoulos.

Elsewhere, fresh from their Championship exploits, promoted teams Wolverhampton Wanderers, Cardiff City and Fulham take on Everton, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace respectively.
