76ers coach Brett Brown was said to be on hand with owners to lead the meeting, likely pointing to the assemblage of young stars like Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid they could surround James with. He is from Farmingdale, California, which is not far from Los Angeles. However, there are still some premium players available at the wing, one of the most valuable positions in today's National Basketball Association.

Durant's return to the Warriors coincides with Paul George's recent announcement of resigning with OKC while at a party at Russell Westbrooks' home.

Nike Philippines made the announcement yesterday, with Durant scheduled to have a meet-and-greet at Bonificio Global City, hold a training session with select cagers before capping off his one-day visit with an event at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

A person with knowledge of the contract says the club has reached an agreement with VanVleet on a two-year, $18 million deal.

LeBron James, of course, remains the biggest story of free agency, as the world waits to see where the game's biggest star will end up in 2018-19. He was named to the All-NBA First Team for the sixth time in his career. After bolting from Cleveland in 2010, he returned in an emotional homecoming four years later, determined to make the Cavs champions.

The 33-year-old had previously said he wanted to finish his career in OH, and although he's leaving home again, Cleveland fans are more forgiving after he ended the city's 52-year sports championship drought in 2016. Durant won the Finals MVP award by a 7-4 vote over Stephen Curry, as determined by a select panel of Warriors and Cavaliers beat writers as well as national NBA writers and broadcasters.

One night earlier, the Thunder reportedly re-signed forward Paul George to a four-year, $137 million deal. Larry Brown Sports reports that the 1+1 structure of the contract will give the Warriors some savings for the following season.

The James signing meant a loaded Western Conference added another potential contender. "It will be enough to get Myers on the phone with Crawford's agent, Aaron Goodwin, when the free agency period begins at 9 p.m. on Saturday".

Aron Baynes, who started virtually every game last season with Boston, is staying with the Celtics.

His meaning was clear.

"RUN IT BACK", wrote Paul alongside an image of him in action for the Rockets.

A top-three player in the game and one of the greatest scorers in league history, KD's presence in Golden State has elevated the organization into an echelon of greatness few have ever achieved.

Durant averaged 26.4 points with 6.8 rebounds and 5.4 assists in 68 games last season. The report also mentioned that the Warriors showed interest in signing Crawford last offseason as well.

For Dallas, persistence paid off. The Mavericks finally are getting DeAndre Jordan.

According to multiple sources, Nikola Jokic will sign a max deal with the Denver Nuggets, worth $148m over five years.
