While the 13 products, ranging in price from $11.95 to $24.90 were still searchable on Walmart's website on Tuesday morning, each individual item led consumers to a "Sorry..."
The line of apparel also sells on Amazon.com and through Old Glory's own website.
Walmart did not list the clothing for sale itself - it was being sold on its third-party marketplace and made by apparel company Old Glory, a company that sells hundreds of different T-shirts that feature all kinds of phrases.
The #BoycottWalmart popped up on Twitter as users expressed distaste for the world's largest retailer seemingly promoting the impeachment of President Donald Trump, the 45th President of the United states. It appears that Walmart has now taken down the listing for the shirt, caving in to the pressure.
Ironically, the manufacturer who is responsible for these highly-contested shirts have also sold merchandise that is staunchly Pro-Trump, having mass-produced "Make America Great Again" hats in the past. We have reached out to Walmart for comment, and will update this story with more details when the company responds. "We're removing these types of items pending review of our marketplace policies", a Walmart spokesperson told TIME.
Teespring had their shirts pulled off the Walmart website days later.
