It's the first phone to use Qualcomm's new midrange Snapdragon 710 processor, and has a 5.88-inch AMOLED screen.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 is priced at 169 Yuan ($26) in China (199 Yuan for the NFC variant), which means that it's just a little bit more expensive than the Mi Band 2, which are great news for those of you who are planning to get it.

The Mi 8 SE carries a 12MP + 5MP lens setup and a Snapdragon 710 SoC, another first for Xiaomi. Xiaomi's Mi 8 SE will ship slightly ahead of the standard model, on June 5 starting at 1799 RMB (~$280). They start at $280 with the budget Xiaomi Mi 8 SE edition and go up to nearly $580 for the Mi 8 Explorer Edition with 3D face unlock and a transparent back.

Is the Xiaomi Mi 8 coming the UK? As one would expect from Xiaomi, these are highly competitive prices.

We'll probably have to wait for the Mi 8 Explorer Edition's real-world release to see whether Xiaomi is telling the truth or not. In case you were wondering, the Mi 8 still has a chin despite the presence of the notch and the fingerprint residing on the rear panel.

Elsewhere, the Mi 8 sports a USB-C port for charging and audio, the latest version of Xiaomi's Android skin and dual Global Positioning System - which make location-based services like navigation more precise. This version has the same specs, but also includes a futuristic in-display fingerprint sensor that, unlike the Vivo X21's in display fingerprint scanner, actually registers pressure sensitivity. The Mi 8 also comes in three storage variants - 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB. For selfies and video calling, there is a 16-megapixel AI-powered front camera which comes with a dedicated portrait mode to add those bokeh effects to your selfies.

Meanwhile, the more premium Explorer edition will cost 3699 yuan, or approximately £433.

The Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition has generated some controversy over its transparent back.

The phone, celebrating the 8th anniversary of the Chinese tech giant, comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, dual cameras and dual Global Positioning System. It is backed by a 3,120mAh non-removable battery and supports 18W Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology.

Available in 4GB RAM/64GB memory and 6GBRAM/64GB memory variants, they come at a price of CNY 1,799 (about Rs 19,000) and CNY 1,999 (about Rs. 21,100) respectively. Let us know in the comments!
