'Stranger Things' Kids Attend MTV Awards Sans Millie Bobby Brown

Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown has revealed she split her kneecap. While Brown seemed to be recovering well - even referring to the injury as a new "milestone" - she was bummed not to be able to attend the event with her Stranger Things co-stars. "I have split my kneecap", Brown said with her crutches in view.

The 37-year-old reality star and makeup mogul wore her hair in braids while flashing her abs in a sparkling white crop top and skirt for the awards show. I love you all??

"I hope Gaten, Caleb, Finn, Sadie and Noah have the best time", Brown continued in her video.

Over the past four seasons, the Levys have taken their little show from its one-note joke (rich people struggle to be poor) and developed it into something with a beating heart, something that can just as easily make you cry while you laugh hysterically. She hasn't tweeted from the account since December 2017.

Online trolls have been taking various selfies and media she's posted on the account and photoshopping them with crude and homophobic captions created to make the star, who is pro-LGBTQ, seem to be violently against homosexuality.

Get ready to laugh when the MTV Movie & TV Awards airs Monday, June 18 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Other social media users expressed support for Brown, who remains active on Instagram.
