"Once we have confirmed that our testing was successful we will begin gradually rolling servers out to all regions and platforms until it's available to all players". Has the June 29 update rectified that?

The launch had been teased via siren sounds and in-game countdown timers over the past few weeks, and the final time for blast off was detailed in a news post Friday afternoon. The term means users don't need to make any purchases to get the gaming experience, but games like Fortnite do offer in-game purchases like outfits, characters, tools, and even dance moves so creators can make a profit off of players. Hopefully Epic has some more encouraging news to share later on in the day, because there have been a string of updates so far that don't say anything more than "we're still working on resolving these issues".

Fortnite is in early access across PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC and iOS.

Epic explained why it was taken offline shortly after the limited time mode was taken off the game.

You'll have one hour to create, play and train as you wish. After receiving fan feedback, the developer has announced it is disabling Final Fight and replacing it with another iteration of the fan-favorite 50v50 mode. You gather resources 10x faster than normal, and there are more llamas and chests to loot.

"Playground LTM launch was VERY popular and the poor matchmaker was trying to create and allocate matches faster than it could keep up with, so a backlog built up". You also get unlimited respawns until the last five minutes, when the storm starts to close in.
